Prakash Hariharan is an Electric Mandolin maestro who believes that music becomes meditative when mind and soul come together. He was trained in classical music under Mandolin U.P. Raju and Vocal and Vainika Vidhushi Innisai Maamani Smt. Padma Veeraraghavan during his formative years. Fusion and South Indian Classical (Carnatic) music are his forte. A skilled composer and director on pop and commercial projects, Prakash has worked with industry bigwigs like A.R. Rahman, Harris Jeyaraj and Imman for composing and producing soundtracks in films and albums. He released his maiden classical album, Gayaki Mandolin in the year 2014 under his media banner YUJ Entertainment. Mandolin Prakash has been performing for over 15 years and is also a professional voice-over artist for radio and television. An avid cricketer, he enjoys playing Semi-pro Cricket at the club level.

The first Indian Woman to have won the Grammy award, Tanvi is a gifted, versatile Recording Artist/ Songwriter and one of the most sought after singers in the music industry today. Her penchant for singing in different languages has won her accolades and fans from across the world. She achieved international stardom when she won a Grammy for Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media for the song "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire (2010). She shares this award with the Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman and Poet/Lyricist Gulzar. Tanvi has done her fair share of playback singing for the film industry in India and is quite the linguist. Besides Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, she can sing in Spanish, Portuguese, Afro-Cuban, Arabic and also experiments with a wide range of musical genres with her band. Tanvi has successfully collaborated with international music producers such as Jeremy Hawkins, Che Pope, David Batteau, and DJ Salah.

A connoisseur of South Indian Classical (Carnatic) vocal music, Sowmya's passion and desire is to propagate the traditions of South Indian music worldwide. Her initial tutelage in music was initiated by her father Dr. Sreenivasan. She was taken under the wings of Dr. Ramanathan and Smt. Mukta, her gurus who nurtured and imbibed her with strict classical values. Instrumental in conducting research for enhancing the tonal rhythm and stability of the Mridangam, a renowned percussion instrument in South Indian music, Sowmya is also an exponent of the Saraswati Vina, one of the world’s oldest musical instruments. An ardent supporter and practitioner of Tamizh Isai, she is well-reputed for her classical style and a repertoire spanning a wide spectrum of composers, which includes some rare, exceptional works of the Carnatic Trinity. She founded Carnatica, an institution dedicated to music and dance instruction.

An exemplary Violinist and Vocalist, Karthick Iyer believes that good music strikes a deep chord with every one of us, no matter where it comes from. He created his own unique style called IndoSoul which has broken down superficial barriers between instruments, genres, languages and cultures to bring out the true essence of music. The core of his band termed "Karthick Iyer Live" comprises of an eclectic mix of acoustic guitar, electric violin, mridangam, bass and drums along with vocals. Karthick has collaborated with notable music directors and composers in the Indian Film industry like A.R. Rahman, Devi Sri Prasad and Imman. He along with his band focus on bringing cultures together that appeals to the young and old. For weddings, the band tailors their concerts to suit a diverse range of audiences. With the right blend of traditional sounds and contemporary beats, the band sets the right tone for any wedding theme.

Sushma Somasekharan

Sushma Somasekharan

A performer, writer, collaborator and Certified Public Accountant - Sushma dons many hats. She was initiated into Carnatic music at the tender age of 4 by her guru Smt. Bhagya Moorthy. Sushma developed a keen interest for Carnatic music and was introduced to stage performances during her formative years. Later on, she went on to study Carnatic Music at The Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) in 1993. During her time there, she had the opportunity to learn from Gurus like Smt. Shanta Subramanyan, Smt. Leelavathi Gopalakrishnan, Smt Padmavathi Nagarajan and Sri Padmalingam. Since 2004, she has been under the sole tutelage of Smt. Lalita Sivakumar. A regular performer at the December Music Season in Chennai, Sushma also had the privilege of showcasing her talent on grand stages like The Madras Music Academy, Brahma Gana Sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Narada Gana Sabha, etc. She travels all over the world and has performed alongside International Percussionists, Bernhard Shchimpelsberger and Pirashanna Thevarajah.

Aditya Prakash

A Gen-Next NRI Carnatic Vocalist, Aditya earlier trained with Sugandha Kalamegha and is currently learning with reputable and venerated gurus, P.S. Narayanaswami and Palai C.K. Ramachandran. He has been performing in Carnatic Vocal concerts since the age of 13 at renowned venues in America and India. Aditya studied Ethnomusicology at UCLA and started taking jazz lessons. That's when he had an idea of a "jugal bandhi" which combines two different genres of music, Classical and Jazz. His ensemble features all his friends and classmates who perform with Saxophones, a Carnatic violin, a Trombone, Piano, Bass Guitar, Latin percussions, a Brazilian folk guitar, Tabla along with vocals. Aditya also had the fortune of performing, touring and working with Sitar Maestro, Pandit Ravi Shankar. With several notable awards to his credit, he currently collaborates with various music projects and composes music for acclaimed Dancer Mythili Prakash's productions.
